Browning Auto 5 Sweet Sixteen 16 Gauge 28" Matted Barrel Full Choke **Made in Belgium 1957**

Description:
Vintage Belgium made Browning Auto 5 Sweet Sixteen 16 Gauge. This fine old Auto 5 was produced in 1957 and features the more desirable dark walnut stock and forend. I personally find the dark walnut more attractive than the blond colored furniture typically found on many Auto 5's. This shotgun features a 28" matted full choke barrel with a pefect bore.  All functions work as they should, and all screw slots are unmolested. The gun shows only honest wear, mostly at the balance point from being carried in the field. Approximately 95% of the original blue finish remains, and the stock and forend show only light handling marks. There is a hairline crack in the forend that could be easily repaired and in no way affects the function of the shotgun. A very clean example of a classic American shotgun.
