Browning Superposed Grade I 12ga
Shotgun
Description:
Browning Superposed Grade I 12ga Shotgun
Caliber: 12ga
Barrels: 26.5"
Note: This is a "Salt Stock" Browning made in 1967. The gun is 49 years old and, on complete disassembly, the only real damage to metal is along the right side of the action where the wood meets the action. We sonic cleaned the entire gun, put a barricade treatment on all internal metal surfaces, and had our stock maker finish all of the internal wood surfaces. It is our opinion that at this point, this would be a life time gun without any issues. Unfortunately due to the fact that that gun no longer belongs to the original owner, Browning will not re-stock the gun. The wood is a beautiful piece of walnut. Just below the round knob pistol grip, there is an abrasion to the stock finish. Other than that, the only other place where rust showed up on metal parts is the two buttplate screws, which were cleaned and coated. Bores are perfect. Barrels are choked full and modified.
