Browning Superposed B25 12 gauge O/U shotgun made in Belgium for the European market.
This is not a Liege model, this is a true Superposed only in field configuration. It has 27 ½” barrels with a 7/16”wide semi-Broadway vent rib, factory choked Sk/IC. The forearm is a larger field style. Mechanical, instead of inertia triggers. The trigger itself is slightly wider than normal and it is smooth checkered.
Long tang, flat knob. Stock has a 14 ½” LOP over a 1” Pachmayr decelerator recoil pad; 1 ½” DAC & 2 ¼”DAH and neutral to very slight LH cast.
The gun weighs 7 lbs. 2 oz.
Mechanically this Superposed is excellent. Excellent bores.
Cosmetically is another story. It looks to me as if the barrels had some moisture on them from the muzzle, back about 5” then put into a soft case where they suffered from surface rusting. It is nothing more than cosmetic, but it is noticeable. The long tang shows a lot of blue fading; the wood has a lot of handling marks. So, I will call the metal finishes at 90% and the wood at 95%.
