** SOLD, another one going to the Whitney Collection ** Very reluctantly, I am finally offering to sell my 55 year old Browning Superposed Pigeon Grade, Hand Engraved, Sub Gauge set in 410, 28 and 20 gauge. I believe it to be unfired since leaving the Belgium factory. If it was ever fired since, you could not prove it by me. A rare time capsule, piece of art that I have had set aside in the safe for many years. It's so very nice that I could never bring myself to shoot it. It comes complete in the factory Browning Luggage Case with mint interior, brochure and key. The case itself is pristine inside and out. The stock is truly beautiful and in excellent condition, displaying wonderful fiddleback in a soft satin finish that looks very tasteful and elegant. I use micro-crystalline Renaissance Wax on all my gun's metal and wood parts to preserve and protect them. Wonderful stuff that's worth it's weight in gold. Factory Browning White Line recoil pad by Pachmyr remains in excellent condition. The Superposed fixed skeet choked set comes with beautiful rust blued barrels in 410, 28 and 20 gauge, 28 inches long with double beads, each with it's own forend. They did things right back in the early years, no scrimping! I cannot tell you of a flaw anywhere. Super condition receiver and all metal components with detailed and crisp hand engraving. The Superposed has been assembled to clean, protect and admire but not in the last few years. Please look closely at the many detailed photos showing the pristine condition of the complete set. I looked for many years before finding this hidden gem and you simply will not find this set in better condition anywhere.
