First year production 1958 Belgium Browning 20 ga. Some people call this a light 20. Four digit serial number, 27 1/2 inch full choke matte rib barrel, stamped Browning Arms Co. St. Louis Mo. Look at the photos...I always try to describe the gun truthfully so the buyer does not have any surprise.... gun has been used, barrel blueing is about 80%, wood does not show any cracks in stock or forearm... kind of unusual. Stock has several nicks and scrapes nothing deep. Wood does seem to be reddish in color, not blond and not dark walnut. Pitcher #14 shows the worst scrape on the butt stock, looks like a fence scrape and later on used oil on it. Not deep, if a person wanted to refinish the wood it wood cover up easy. Butt plate is horn I do believe and is not perfect but still in good condition. This is a 65 year old gun that has been used, it is still in strong condition and solid. ALSO one EXTRA barrel to go with gun 26 inch vent rib, improved cyclinder barrel made in Belgium, stamped Morgan Utah & Montreal PQ. barrrel looks new with a few handling marks on it, call it 99%.
