Belguium made Browning A-5 Lightweight 20 gauge
Description: Offered for sale is a very nice Browning Belgium made Lightweight A-5 shotgun in 20 gauge. Made in 1958, this sweet swinging little 20 gauge is one of the most sought after models offered by Browning. Weighing only 6 lbs. 4 oz. this little beauty is easy to carry and smooth to swing. the gun is equipted with a 27" plain barrel that is choked Full and cross hatched engraved on the top the barrel. The Length of Pull is 14 3/8" over a classic Browning horn butt plate. The drop at Comb is 1 5/8" and the Drop at Heel is 2 1/2". The gun is in outstanding condition retaining 95 -98% of its deep blued finish. There are no scrapes, abraslions or rubs anywhere on the metal surfaces. The nicely grained walnut stock and forend appear to have received a new coat of finish as they are free of scrapes, scratches, splits or cracks. In short thay look new and since the gun was made in 1958 it is llogical that the wooden components have been refinished some time in the life of the gun.The classsic horn butt plate is a very nice touch that is seldon found on even these early model guns.
