1952 Vintage Browning Auto 5 Standard 12 Gauge, 28" Plain Modified Barrel ** Beautiful original condition with hang tag** SOLD

Description:
1952 vintages standard weight 12 Gauge Browning A5.  This classic Belgian Browning auto loader appears to have been used very little since new, and even retains its original hang tag with instructions. This early 1950's gun has dark walnut furniture, which I much prefer to the later "blonde" wood most people associate with Browning long guns. It features a 28 inch plain barrel that is choked modified.  It has approximately 96%+ of the original blue with only discernable finish loss being some minor thining on the lower grip strap and very slight high edge wear at the carry point.  The early style round knob pistol grip stock has the original LOP of 14 inches to the buttplate.  The stock set is solid with sharp checkering, showing only a few minor handling marks, and no cracks or repairs. These early Belgium made Brownings are considered some of the finest made autoloaders of all time and they have not been made for  many years.
