BOSS & CO BEST QUALITY 12 GAUGE OVER-UNDER SHOTGUN - 28" BARRELS
Description: 28" BARRELS, IMPROVED CYLINDER AND IMPROVED CYLINDER, 2-3/4", SINGLE TRIGGER, STRAIGHT HAND GRIP, GAME FORE-END, LEATHER COVERED RECOIL PAD, 6 LBS - 11 OZ, 1-1/2" DAC, 1-7/8" DAH, 14-5/8" LOP English made sidelock ejector game shotgun. The round blacked steel barrels are 28" with 2-3/4" chambers, choked Improved Cylinder and Improved Cylinder, steel front bead and a ribless top. The top of the barrel is roll marked "BOSS & Co., 41, ALBEMARLE STREET, PICCADILLY, LONDON. W." and "MADE IN ENGLAND". The action body and lockplates are adorned with traditional rose bouquets and scrolls with a case color hardened finish. Both lockplates are engraved "BOSS & CO" while both sides of the action body are engraved "PATENT 3307.1909", the bottom of the action body on trigger plate is engraved "BOSS'S PATENT No 22894", "SAFE" in gold ion top tang ahead of engraved and checkered slide safety. The action is fit with a triple-pull single trigger protected by an engraved blacked right side rolled trigger guard, gold line cocking indicators and automatic safety. Well figured reddish brown walnut stocks with checkered English straight hand grips and drop points. The straight hand grip is supported by a long engraved blacked bottom tang with serial number. Game fore-end with matching checkering, engraved escutcheon and Anson style push button release. The exterior metal of fore-end iron near the action is engraved "BOSS'S PATENT NO 3308.1909". 14-5/8" LOP to a leather covered recoil pad.
