A two-barrel 687 EELL Diamond Pigeon in .410 Bore and 28g made on a scaled frame with SST, auto-safety, and side plates that have full coverage scroll engraving with a silver or “coin” finish. The words “Beretta Galley” are engraved on the bottom of the receiver. This is the earlier version with hand-chased engraving and the engraver’s signature engraved on the trigger plate: “Bottega C. Giavanelli “.
Both sets of mono-bloc barrels are 28” with vent top-ribs, automatic ejectors, 3” chambers in the .410 barrels and 2 ¾" chambers in the 28g. Both sets of barrels are complete with a full set of Beretta Mobil-Chokes (Sk, IC, M, IM, F).
The Turkish walnut stock is nicely figured on both sides, has a straight hand grip, and a 14 3/8” LOP over a removable checkered butt. Each set of barrels has its own Schnable forend. The forends, grips, and butt are all checkered to match. The gun weighs 6lbs 3oz.
The gun has been fired and if you look closely, you will see handling marks on the wood, but no cracks, repairs or serious dents or dings. The metal on the gun remails excellent and the bores are perfect. Overall, the gun remains in excellent condition and is complete in the factory Beretta case with its paperwork.
