RARE Beretta 411E 16ga 28" - Hand Engraved Side Plates - Like NEW
Description: This is a rare piece - in like new condition - and I will regret selling it, but unfortunately I don't have unlimited funds to support my gun habit. I purchased a couple years ago as I was trying to shoot more SxS and have sinced reverted back to O/Us. She's been sitting in my safe for the last year and need to make room for new additions. I sent the gun to Briley to have a sonic clean, Briley chokes installed, and added the custom Kick-eez pad. I tried to get the best pictures (not a professional) to show off the amazing condition. There two areas of wear to call out: small area of wear on left barrel and small area of wear by trigger plate (both in pics). I am happy to do a FaceTime call to show the gun and answer any questions. If interested, please use the email form to send your contact information and I will reach out. Beretta - Model 411E - 16ga, 2-3/4", 28", Ejectors, Double Triggers - Front Articulated, Prince of Wales Grip, LOP 14-3/4", Drop 1-1/2" to 2-1/2", Slight Cast Off, Weight - 6 lbs. 10 oz. Briley choke set: CYL, SKT, IC, LMOD, MOD INLCUDES Beretta hard carry case and original box. I also have a couple cases of 16ga shells - probably 1/2 are Boss and 1/2 Federal. I will include the shells in purchase (if interested) and only charge for actual shipping cost. From the seller I purchased from: The Model 411E was discontinued in about 1964. Beretta discontinued 16ga guns in the late 1970s. So, how is it we have a 411E with barrels proofed in 1982 in a 1990s box with a factory bar code label? The best explanation I can come up with is - a parts cleanup. I've owned another of these guns with a serial number in the same range. That gun's barrels were proofed in 1978. I had an email from Beretta verifying that gun was shipped in 1993. My theory is that someone was cleaning out a storage room in Italy and found a big box of parts from the 1960s. Someone decided to make these into guns rather than melt them down. Some of you fellow Beretta nuts will also remember that there was a group of ASEL guns that entered the market around the same time. Another gun they stopped making in the early 1960s.
