The AL391 Urika Gold Sporting shotgun was one of Beretta's best efforts to make a reliable, attractive, soft shooting, great handling sporting clays semi auto shotgun.  Unlike the 391 Field models, it came standard with a checkered deluxe Walnut pistol grip stock set, a satin black finished receiver with some engraving and gold accents, and a 28 inch barrel with a wide ventilated rib and a mid-bead in addition to the standard bead and choke tubes.  The condition of this example is minty and it could pass as unfired since leaving the factory.  The jeweled bolt and shell lifter are in beautiful shape with no staining, and the gold accents and finish rate 99%.  There is no visible wear on any of the metal parts or fouling in the internals.  The stock set is beautiful, with lots of nice contrasting grain giving it a lot of character and eye appeal.  Only under the closest examination can any handling marks be found on the stock set.  The checkering is still nice and sharp and the wood is 100% free from cracks or repairs.  The hard chrome lined bore is minty and bright with no dents, bulges, pitting, or erosion.  This Beretta comes with "Improved Cylinder" and "Full" choke tubes.  Sorry, there is no box or hard case.  Beretta discontinued this model in 2006, but it continues to attract a following all over the world.  Beretta AL391's are still being used in the high-volume dove fields of South America to the duck blinds in Arkansas.  Their reputation for reliability has become legendary in the semi auto shotgun segment.  If you have been looking for an outstanding semi auto shotgun you can take to the field or the range that will shoot reliably and look classy doing it, this would be a great choice.  There are not many shotguns that can do what this Beretta does that look this attractive.
