The Beretta A400 Xcel Black Edition is the same A400 Xcel with a 10mm wide carbon fiber rib and oversized controls for improved handling.
Barrel
The A400 Xcel Black Editon comes equipped with Steelium barrel and with the OptimaChoke HP system. The Steelium barrel is a cold hammer forged, tri-alloy steel barrel with a 3” chamber.
Receiver
The receiver is black anodized 7075-T651 Aluminum alloy for lightweight strength and durability.
Gas System
The A400 Xcel Black Edition features Beretta’s Blink gas-operating system and rotating bolt head allowing it to smoothly fire 4 shots in less than a second.
Carbon Fiber Rib
Building on the success of Beretta’s Black Edition competition shotguns like the DT11, 692 and 690, the A400 Xcel Sporting Black Edition features a 10mm wide rib made of lightweight and strong carbon fiber (the same material and process used to make components for Formula One racecars) that reduces the weight of the barrel by 4oz for improved swingability and target acquisition.
