Description:
Serial #291312, 12 GA (2 3/4" chamber), 28 inch barrels with bright, near excellent bores with a hint of frosting near the breech choked about modified in each tube. This is a very well built Spanish side-by-side, boxlock, field grade shotgun manufactured by AYA (Aguirre & Aranzabel) in 1968. In very good overall condition the solid ribbed barrels have about 75-80% mottled blue toning to plum brown of a possible reapplied finish. The case colored receiver showing virtually all, 90-95% vivid finish with wear on the edges and some freckling under the lever. The checkered pistolgrip hardwood stock and forearm are in near excellent condition showing some light contusions and use marks. It has a 14 ½" LOP with drops of 1 ½" & 2 ¾" at the comb and heel respectively. Mechanically it functions properly and the barrels are on face with the lever resting just right of center. A very well built Spanish double that would be a pleasure to take into the field. FFL or C&R
