Arrieta model 570 side lock 28 gauge SxS shotgun. This fun little 28 was made by one of Spain's very best shotgun makers: Arrieta. With 26" barrels with a smooth concave rib that have had Briley thin wall chokes (SK, SK, IC, M, LM) added and at 5 lbs. 13 oz. this is an ideal upland game gun.
The 5-pin side lock action is a proven "best" and the action has twin underlug locks along with "side clips" to ensure a lifetime of solid lock-up. Single non-selective trigger, automatic safety and automatic ejectors are also featured on this fine case colored action.
The straight grip stock has a 13 7/8" LOP to the end of the buttplate (but if this same gun had double triggers the LOP would be right at 14 5/8"); 1 3/8" DAC and 2 1/8" DAH with 1/4" cast favoring a right hand shooter.
With the exception of two very small areas on the barrels where something lightly "nicked" the bluing (right side near the breech and about 7" forward of that) the gun would be considered to have 98% metal finish.
There a a few handling marks on the oil finished stock so that condition is 95-97%
As I said this is a wonderful upland bird gun
