GOULCHER LOCK Here we present an antique Double Barrel Percussion Side by Side Shotgun with a G. Goulcher lock, made circa the 1850s. This double barrel hammer gun would have been used for putting game on the table and protecting the homestead. This is a very nice fowling piece that is handsome with its engravings and in its simplicity and practicality. The overall condition is good. Dark patina. The actions are strong—full-cock only. The bores are smooth and patinated. The stock is solid and some signs of light sanding/refinishing. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrels are 33-1/2 inches.
