Description: This Winchester Model 1885 High Wall, Special 125th Anniversary Edition, is a single shot, lever action rifle and features a Marble's gold bead front sight, Buckhorn rear sight, and a marbles tang mounted rear sight. The stock & forearm are Grade I oil finish checkered straight grip walnut with Schnabel forearm and standard sling swivel studs. In order to reduce the felt recoil, it has the original Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. The 28” octagon barrel is chambered for 45-70 Government, is gloss blued, factory drilled & tapped for scope bases and features beautiful gold-inlaid commemorative anniversary engraving. The steel receiver and lever features scroll engraving with the "WRA" logo. This is a beautiful rifle and it has been fired but only at the range and never hunted. I do NOT have the original box or papers. Please look closely at the pictures and as always, please make sure your questions are answered prior to purchasing. You can always call.
