Description:
****SOLD**** The Winchester Model 63 was made from 1933 to 1958, with approximately 174,692 manufactured. The semi auto rifles were fitted with a 20 (very early production) or 23 inch barrel, standard rifle open sights, plain walnut pistol grip stock with steel butt-plate, later models had a grooved upper receiver, were blue finished, and chambered in .22 LR.. This 4-digit serial numbered, 1935 vintage, Model 63 is as described and is fitted with a 23 inch barrel. The rifle is in excellent original condition, retaining 90% original blue, with most loss due to thinning on the high edges of the receiver, flaking of the finish on the forend tip and scratches and corrosion spotting on the butt-plate. The stock and forearm are in excellent condition, retaining 97-98% original finishes, with assorted minor handling marks. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and the action is tight and functions perfectly. A very nice example of a very early Model 63. CURIO & RELIC
