23 inch round barrel chambered in 22 Long only caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Barrel retains most original blue turning brown in places. Showing only light wear and handling marks. Mag tube shows mostly blue with an area of light wear turning brown around the loading port. Receiver is a mix of plum/brown to more blue in protected areas. Small grooved forearm & straight grip walnut stocks fit well showing moderate finish wear and light handling marks with a crescent butt. The Model 1890 was discontinued in 1932, however a clean up of the production parts lasted another 8+ years and included another 14-15 thousand guns for a total of 848,936 guns in 1937. This one was made in 1929.
