WINCHESTER MODEL 90 ROUND BARREL RIFLE IN 22 SHORT

Description:
This is a late 3rd Model rifle a 23 inch tapered round barrel chambered in 22 Short caliber only with a bright shiny excellent bore. Original sights. Barrel has about 90% blue remaining. Most blue on the magazine tube. Receiver has about 75% blue remaining that is flaking. Grooved forend and walnut stock show some mars but retain about 90% original varnish. Rifle style buttplate. Nice functioning action. A scarce variation. The Model 1890 was discontinued in 1932, however a clean up of the production parts lasted another 8+ years and included another 14-15 thousand guns for a total of 848,936 guns in 1937. This one was made in 1929.
