Pre War Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 .30 GOV'T. '06 Outstanding!

Highly coveted Pre War Model 70 30-06 in outstanding original condition.
S/N 40536 with matching scribed bolt made in 1941.
This beautiful rifle remains in exceptional condition for its 84 years, wearing a very nice piece of dark walnut, and all original finishes showing about 98% overall.
There are only some scattered light handling scratches on the barrel, and a few very light impressions in the wood. The rear receiver bridge remains correctly undrilled!
The inner surfaces and barrel channel look virtually new and are unaltered in any way.
The high wear areas of bottom metal and buttplate are in superb condition and have never been reblued.
24" standard weight barrel with minty bore. All mechanical functions are typically flawless as well.
All correct components throughout such as proper sights, 4 step elevator, hood, swivels, etc.
I have had a great many Pre War 70s, and this is one of the nicer examples.
Please add $100 for expedited and fully insured shipping from Alaska in the industry's finest custom cut, foam lined box.
