2 added holes in the barrel for Unertl scope mount and one in rear of the receiver are the only detraction from this otherwise excellent pre-war model 70 from 1941 chambered in very scarce 22 hornet. Current Unertl 12X scope uses different mounting. Checkering nicely recut.
