Custom Winchester Model 70, Octagon Barrel, Cal. 7mm Rem. Mag., 1949 Vintage, French Walnut Stock with Fleur-de-lis Checkering

Description:
Custom Winchester Model 70 fitted with a 26 inch custom (maker ?) octagon barrel with sling swivel stud, fleur-de-lis checkered french walnut pistol grip stock with accent line cheekpiece, ebony forend tip, sculptured steel pistol grip cap, 1/2 inch Pachmayer recoil pad & inletted sling swivel stud, is blue finished, and chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum.  This 1949 vintage Winchester Model 70 is in excellent condition, retaining 97-98% blue, with some minor thinning at the muzzle and assorted very minor handling marks.  The beautifully figured stock is in excellent condition, retaining 99% of its finish with assorted minor handling marks/pressure dents.  The bore looks as new and the action functions perfectly.  Included and mounted to the gun is a Redfield scope mounts.  The mounts have been used and have assorted handling marks.  Sorry, no box or paper-work.                                CURIO & RELIC
