This nearly 50 year old gun could not possibly be any nicer and is more or less save for a minor mark or two exactly as it was when it left New Haven so many decades ago. While Remington understood the demand for super accurate long range Varmint rifles  and made so many fine 700's in this configuration, Winchester largely missed this and made by comparison only a handful and are not often found. Thes are beautifully made quality rifles and likely suiper accurate.
BONUS: this one comes with an excellent Bushnell (owned by Bausch & Lomb)  6 x 18 AO long range varmint scope and chamberd in 243 with greater down range wind resistance than most of the 22's varmint chambering should be good for predator contro out to 500 yards or so or simply to have fun putting holes in paper or on steel.
