Winchester Model 61 22 Long Rifle Shotgun With Counter Bored Barrel In Fine Condition

Description:
This Winchester Shotgun was produced in 1957. The shotgun's serial number is 264808. This gun has the 24 inch factory counter bored barrel. The receiver has the grooved top for mounting a scope. The bore is in bright minty condition. The barrel has no provision for a rear sight. The barrel is properly marked  22 Long Rifle For Shot Only.  The front sight is the German Silver shotgun bead sight. This shotgun shows very light use. There is a slight rub mark on both sides of the barrel where the forend is pumped to work the action. The original bluing would rate a 98% condition or better. The stock and forend are in fine condition with no issues. This stock is the late model stock with the plastic butt plate with the Winchester logo. This is the first year of these late style stocks. This Winchester is a collector grade shotgun! These Model 61 Shotguns are considered rare and hard to find today! Here is a fine condition late model shotgun for the discriminating collector!
