WINCHESTER MODEL 55 TAKEDOWN RIFLE IN 30 WCF

Description:
24 inch rapid taper round barrel chambered in 30WCF caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Barrel and mag tube have most all original thinning blue remaining. Sights include a ramped Lyman front and flattop sporting rear. Receiver has flaked which is normal for these Model 55's. Buttstock has a well done repair at the toe and was refinished. Forearm wood is in very good condition. Serrated steel shotgun buttplate. Take down frame and mag tube that holds 3 cartridges. Crisp action. About 20,500 of these were made between 1924-1932. This one was made in 1929.
