Winchester Model 54 Carbine .30 GOV'T. '06

Description:
Excellent Winchester 54 Carbine in 30-06 caliber. 20" Barrel with excellent bore. Unmolested condition with NO drill holes in rear receiver bridge, and NO drill holes for swivels, which were not issued on carbines. S/N 16***.
Wood and metal finishes are original and in very good condition, especially considering 89 years of handling!
There were only about 50,000 Model 54s made in all configurations, and Carbines made up only a small percentage of that. Unaltered examples are extremely hard to find. This one is certainly not perfect, but you will look a long time to find one better.
