Description: 1949 Winchester model 43 in desirable .22 Hornet Cartridge. A great lightweight bolt action Varmint Rifle chambered in a favorite .22 Hornet Centerfire cartridge. One magazine, hooded front sight. This gun remains in excellent original condition with 97% or better original metal blued finish. Walnut furniture has great finish with some very minor handling marks. Winchester only produced this rifle from 1948 to 1953 and then kept them in the catalog until they sold out in 1957! Adjustable iron sights, no plastic on this Winchester!
