Description:
22 inch barrel shows about all original finish. The bore is excellent, bright and shiny with strong sharp rifling. Original sights include a pinned blade front and No. 50A Carbine rear. Walnut stocks are solid and full fitting having about all the original finish and only minimal light handling marks with the forearm and handguard showing some oil staining near the receiver. Features a carbine trapdoor buttplate that holds the original and appearing unused bore brush. This gun has seen very little use with the overall condition rating about 90%. Most of the metal surfaces have near all original deep dark blued finish remaining with the other 10% suffering what appears to have been poor storage leaving some pitted surfaces on the bolt and top of the receiver. Manufactured in 1917.
