Description:
This Winchester Model 1894 SRC has a very low ANTIQUE serial number in the 2100 range. 20 inch carbine configuration in caliber 38-55. Sights include a pinned blade front and a carbine folding ladder rear. Has an excellent bore. Original walnut stocks which are nicely figured and in very good condition overall with some light staining at the bottom of the buttplate. The gun is fitted with the quick detachable Winchester sling eyes. Action is in fine condition. The gun is in overall good condition with 50%-60% blue thinning on the high points of the receiver. Barrel is mostly plum/brown with strong blue in the protected area. Very unusual to find any carbine in the 2300 range. Has an inscription on the receiver and looks like it has been on there forever which is a German name Adolph Von Goszczynski. A good looking Winchester carbine.
