Description:
This is a unique one. A Deluxe 1894, with the serial number applied on Feb 3, 1903. Originally chambered in 32/40. It was re-barreled in 25-35 WCF at an unknown time. The barrel on it know appears to have been intended for a rifle with a full length magazine. There are two cuts on the underside of the barrel that indicate this. Barrel is stamped showing that Winchester sent the barrel to a gunsmith for replacement. It's a 25.5" half round, half octagon barrel. There is two spots of small (pin head size) pitting about 6-7" back from the front sight. Doesn't look as though it got through the bluing. Chamber and rifling look good. Checkered stock and pistol grip. Please look carefully and you'll see on the right side pistol grip, right below the hammer, there is a small piece that had broken free. It had a filler put in its place. Set trigger and Swiss butt. Please look over the pictures to get a good idea of the condition. Make a great addition to any Winchester collection. This will come with the letter from the Cody Firearms Museum.
If you would like more pictures, have questions, or concerns please reach out via email. Feel free to shoot us a reasonable offer. We will respond within two business days.
We do not ship to HI. Shipping to Alaska has an added fee to our flat rate, based on location.
