Winchester Model 1886 Lightweight, Take-Down, Cal. .33 WCF PRICE: $2,350

Description:
Winchester Model 1886 Lightweight fitted with a 24 inch round barrel, ivory bead Lyman front sight, semi-buckhorn adjustable for elevation rear sight, half length tube magazine, straight grip walnut stock with checkered hard rubber butt-plate, walnut forearm, is blue finished, and chambered in .33 WCF..  This 1920 vintage Model 1886 is in very good condition, retaining 95% original blue on the barrel, with some minor corrosion spotting, approximately 20% blue on the receiver, with most ;loos due to flaking, and the hammer and trigger approximately 60% blue.  The stock has been lightly sanded and refinished, with some fill where the stock meets the frame on the right side above the trigger.  The forearm has also been lightly sanded and refinished, with 4 holesd filled in/repaired.  The bore is excellent, is bright with sharp rifling.  The take-down function operates perfectly, as does the action.                                         CURIO & RELIC
