Winchester Deluxe Model 1886 Short Rifle In 33 W.C.F.
Description: This Winchester was produced in 1918. The rifle's serial number is 155996. It is fitted with the full round 22 inch barrel. This take down rifle also has the full magazine. The front and rear sights are standard for this model. The rifle also has the Lyman tang sight with the screw in peep disk. The take down feature locks up tight with no play. The bore is bright and sharp. The pistol grip stock has the hard rubber pistol cap. The checkering is very fine with most of the wear on the forend. The wood has the rare oil finish. The stock and forend have very vivid figuring and coloring! The oil finished wood makes it stand out very nicely! There is no damage or cracks to the wood. The barrel and magazine blue would rate a 96% overall condition The reciever would rate a 50% overall condition. The hard rubber shotgun buttplate is intact with the Winchester logo. This special order Winchester has nice special features! The short rifle, oil finish and full magazine are some of the rare features of this rifle. Being a 33 W.C,F. rather than a 45-70 in a short rifle is also a nice touch!
