**Sale Pending** - EXTREMELY SCARCE SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER 1886 IN CALIBER 38-56

Description: Special order 30 inch half octagon pencil barrel chambered in 38-56 WCF caliber with a good shootable bore. Sights include a Lyman front and typical Winchester flattop sporting rear sight. Barrel retains about 20% blue with the balance turning a plum color. Receiver has traces of case color in protected areas with the balance a plum/brown color. Set trigger functions but is weak. Original 2X fancy grade walnut checkered pistolgrip stock. A chip out of the forearm and a repaired crack on the right side of the upper tang. There were only 3 of the 30 inch lightweight tapered barrels made in the 38-56 caliber making this a very scarce gun. Comes complete with Factory Letter.
