DLX WINCHESTER MODEL 1885 LAUDENSACK H.W. T.D. FRAME CAL 22 SHORT
Description: Features a 28 inch #3 full octagon barrel chambered in 22 Short caliber. No front or rear sight seats and in place of them are a Winchester A5 scope with very good optics. Fitted with a palm rest and a take down style frame. Complete with a checkered pistol grip with a cheek rest and a Laudensack style butt plate. Double set triggers that function very fine. Excellent bright shiny bore. Barrel retains 90% original barrel blue starting to tone just a bit. Still retains sharp corners and nice markings. The frame has 95% + bright blue. Traces of case color on the lever. Deluxe fancy wood is in excellent + condition with most of the original varnish remaining on the stock. I believe the gun is pictured on page 143 of John Campbell Winchester Single Shot book Volume 2. This gun was originally in Gary Quintilian collection and he had probably the best high wall collection in the country. Fine little gun with a sharp bore.Cody Research verifies all special order features as exhibited on this fine high wall.
