28 inch octagon barrel chambered in 45-60 WCF caliber that shows 90% blue starting to tone slightly brown at the edges. Full length magazine tube shows 85% finish with slightly more toning to brown. Excellent bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Sights include original sporting nickel-silver blade front, an 1876 marked sporting leaf folding rear and a graduated mid-range tang mounted peep. Blued receiver shows 90% deep dark original finish with light handling marks and limited very light freckling. Lever, hammer and trigger show 60% color case hardened finish. Walnut stocks are solid showing a light cleaning with finish added featuring a trapdoor crescent butt plate. Comes with a factory letter stating configuration and that it was made in 1882.
