Winchester Model 1876 .45-60. Made in 1881 and supported by a factory letter, serial 19546 has a 26-inch octagon barrel. Features include a color case action and a shotgun butt plate. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 9.4 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.15 inches. CONDITION: The bore is fair, with general moderate roughness, browning and spotting. Both hammer positions are positive, trigger is crisp and the lever rests properly tight. Barrel finish has thinned and browned to approximately 50 percent. Markings are sharp. Receiver colors have browned and faded to trace in protected areas. Wood has added surface finish and a hairline crack at the serial has been professionally addressed. A hole for a sling swivel stud appears on the toe line. The price is firm and layaway is available. $5,000 plus shipping.
