24 inch octagon barrel that has about 95% finish showing with only light wear and handling marks and some very fine scratches scattered here and there. Excellent bore that is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Original sights include No. 21 Sporting front with Nickel Silver insert and No. 22 Sporting rear. Full length magazine. Receiver shows about 95% finish showing light wear and handling marks with some very fine scratches, mostly on the lefts side. Hammer and lever show near all case colors with the crescent rifle butt plate showing more faded colors. Solid action is crisp and tight. Walnut stocks are solid and full fitting showing little wear and only very light handling marks. Comes complete with 4 piece cleaning rod behind the trapdoor. Manufactured in 1884. That’s 140 years old remaining in excellent overall condition!
