Winchester 2nd Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle 44-40 cal Bore Exc shiny with sharp rifling, Mech Exc tight action, Wood VG plus forewood has HD initials in left side. Wood fits well to metal. Has a24” part Rd part oct barrel with button magazine special order. Has an excellent Winchester address marking and original sights. The receiver has the correct 2nd model dust cover and rail and the top tang has the Model 1873 marking with the lower tang having the Serial#31457 Mfg’d 1879. Very fine Winchester showing no abuse and very clean. Metal overall has a grey brown patina finish with a ½ “spot of pitting on the buttplate
