Description:
1873 Winchester Deluxe in 44-40. Manufactured in 1882. Please see picture of Cody Research sheet. Excellent bore, I will rate it an 8.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. 24" octagon barrel and full magazine tube retain 65 to 70% of their original blue. There are scrapes, dings, scratches, and handling marks present. Correct sights and very nice barrel address. Action functions smoothly. Receiver retains about 25 to 30% original case colors with the remainder showing silvered out case colors. Hammer and lever show some nice case colors as well. Forend cap still showing original case colors and check out the fire blue still present on the loading gate. Buttstock and forend are in good condition showing the normal handling marks, scratches, and dings. The initials REW are nicely stamped in the right side of the buttstock (see pic). All assembly numbers match. Magazine cap is worn down in one spot (see pic). More pictures are available upon request. All in all a great untouched 1873 Winchester Deluxe offered at a great price. Please feel free to ask questions. Antique and can be shipped directly to your doorsteps.
