24 inch round barrel retains about 95% finish. Near excellent bore that is bright and shiny with decent rifling. Original No. 21 Sporting front sight with Nickel Silver blade and No. 22 Sporting rear. Full length magazine appears to have been cleaned long ago leaving blue only in protected areas with balance a thinning brown to gray. Receiver shows about 70% finish showing wear and light handling marks with the left side cover appearing to have been touched-up/re-blued. The case coloring on the hammer and lever remain very good, darkening somewhat with age and the crescent rifle butt plate has toned to a silvery gray patina. Walnut stocks are solid and full fitting with only light handling marks. Manufactured in 1895.
