Description:
Winchester model 1873 lever action chambered in .22 Short. Made in 1891 this rifle is an ANTIQUE.
The first thing you notice is that someone at sometime thought a good scrubbing with fine steel wool would make this fine old Winchester look better...Oh well! The rifle is however in really good mechanical condition, the screw heads are all very straight and the wood finish appears to be original. The bore is very shootable, a little dark but not awful.
It still is a nice example of an antique 1873 22 short
