WINCHESTER MODEL 1866 LEVER ACTION RIFLE

Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 RF caliber with a very good shiny bore that has some light scattered roughness. Sights include a German silver blade front and a sporting rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube are a plum/brown with traces of blue on the steel forend cap. Attractively aged brass receiver. Traces of nitre blue on the loading gate as well as traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. Straight grain walnut stocks are very good with a few handling mars. Steel blued crescent buttplate. Looks used but not abused. Made in 1882.
