WWI USGI Winchester M1917 Receiver Serial #368xxx 3-18 Barrel .30-06 Numbers Matching
Description: WWI USGI Winchester US Model of 1917 bolt action rifle, serial #368xxx in .30-06 Springfield caliber. This rifle has a 6-round internal magazine and can be loaded single round or via 5-round stripper clips (not included). The Winchester receiver and W-marked bolt are numbers matching and have flaming bomb cartouches. The barrel is W-marked, dated 3-18 with a flaming bomb cartouche. The bore is nice with good rifling. The walnut stock is W-marked on the forend. Both the stock and handguards have normal wear and handling marks such as dings and scratches. There are several numerals and cartouches on the left rear of the stock. There is a small, faint import marking on the underside of the barrel "P1917 30.06 cal CDI, SWAN, VT".
