This rifle is one of the few model 55s made in a solid frame configuration most were take-down. The serial number indicates its manufacture in 1932. The Model 55 was a lighter and sportier version of the 94 introduced in 1924 and ran until 1932. This one was a last year production rifle. .30 WCF
