Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine, Cal. .25-35 W.C.F. , 1914 Vintage SRC

Description:
Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine fitted with a 20 inch barrel, full length tube magazine, standard carbine sights, long gumwood forearm, gumwood stock fitted with a steel carbine butt-plate, and chambered in .25-35 W.C.F..  This 1914 vintage Winchester 1894 is in very good condition, retaining 30% orignal blue, with only a couple of areas on the frame having any blue left.  The forearm is in good condition, with assorted handling marks/dents/chips and a crack on the bottom, under the tube magazine and ahead of the barrel band.  The stock is in very good condition, with assorted handling marks/dents/scratches and some chipping where the butt-plate is in layed into the top of the stock.  The bore is somewhat bright with sharp rifling, but is a lttle rough due to minor surface corrosion throughtout.  The action functions well and the lever locks into place.  A decent example of its type, used but not abused.
