Description:
20 inch standard carbine configuration chambered in 44 WCF caliber with a good shiny bore that does have a few light pits but is good overall. Sights include a pinned blade front with a blade that has been filed or worn down and a replaced carbine folding ladder rear that is missing the slider. Metal surfaces appear to have been cleaned long ago and have turned gun metal gray patina. There is an eight-digit number electro-penciled on right of receiver. Gumwood stocks have a few hairline/minor cracks and minor chips in the wood as well as being slightly undersized at the wrist and carbine buttplate. Smooth functioning action. Comes with a factory letter confirming caliber and a 1906 shipment date. This one would be a good example piece for Cowboy Action shooters.
