Description:
Hi condition is a phrase that definitely should be associated with this carbine. It is a 1947 manufacture, flat band, long forearm, .30-30 with all the bluing, all the original stock/forearm finish, etc. Yes it has a few very, very. minor marks on the buttstock - I'd call them gun safe marks - certainly not from hunting use, and certainly not noticeable at all. Bore and chamber are of course mint condition. It has a blank in the rear sight dovetail, and a period Redfield receiver sight properly installed on the receiver in the factory drilled receiver holes. In looking all over the internet I have not seen a 94 carbine from this era equal to this one as far as condition is concerned. An amazing 78 year old model 94 carbine.
