A beautiful rifle that has hardly been used has upgraded Williams extractor installed, as you can see it also has the scope rings already to mount your scope on, just to put the cherry on the cake. Open to serious offers as I have this on consignment I would need to check with the seller first. I have just recieved further information from the owner:
This Winchester Model 70 was produced in 1996 and is a faithful reproduction of the pre-64 model 70, i.e. controlled feed and extraction with the three-way safety. I owned two of these at the same time ( I don't know why ) but this one has less than 50 rounds through it. I changed stocks to the classic American Black Oak with full check piece, installed a "Williams" solid steel one piece floor plate and a "Williams" straight grain steel extractor and fitted it with aircraft grade aluminum Tally rings. Action is a standard action and reamed to 30.06. I owned two of them at the same time and this one lived in the gun safe most of its life. I am the orginal owner.
