Winchester Model 54 Carbine in .30-06. Very good condition. All original, and complete with the excellent factory installed Lyman 48W receiver sight, and dovetail filler in the barrel. This rifle was owned for over 30 years by a Rural Route Postman in tha back country of Alaska for over 30 years. According to him, he did a "Danish Oils treatment to the stock many years ago to help it survive the elements. The metal shows its age with wear and plenty of patina but there is absolutely no rust, The rifle was very well cared for. This rifle has not been messed with...and shoots great.
