We are offering for sale a 1976 Winchester MODEL 70 bolt action rifle chambered in 30-06 Sprg caliber. This rifle remains in very good, fully functioning condition and has been fitted with a Simmons 4-12x40 scope.
22" barrel is very good to excellent with bright bore showing crisp rifling; Rifle sights have been removed; Filler screws fill the holes. The action remains very good to excellent with minor handling wear. Bolt action functions flawlessly. Action fitted with Simmons scope. The Monte Carlo style wood stock is very good with scattered field wear; Some loss to gloss finish on the bottom edge of the shoulder stock. Plastic buttplate is good with scattered field wear; No breaks or cracks.
